Love is odd for Psychic's: The first battle of love

The sunlight hits the windows of Sliph Co.  Buildings causing a glow around Saffron city that blinds the people walking a bit as some yawn and others who walk have red eyes and black bags under their eyes with grease on their cloths. In the wake of these people a young man was asleep in a tent next to the Saffron Gym with other tents and sleeping bags behind his. He had short auburn color hair and a body figure of a teen as he has blue baseball cap next to him with a yellow line going all around it.

He started to stir as he rose from his sleeping bag and yawns as he rubs his eyes and tells himself in a sleepy and happy tone, "Well time to start another season of Pokémon training. Man I can't wait to battle Sabrina, she probably a pretty strong gym leader." He got while in the gym a sneeze was heard as a young woman moans as another young woman with curly poufy hair and tail loops on the back of her head. She has jeans on with her pink shirt and white jacket as she was upset and says "Sabrina, you're too sick to battle today. I think you need to close the gym."

Sabrina put her hand on her night table and starts to get up from her bed as her purple pajamas were being hung loose on her body as she looks at Mina and tells her, "Mina let me work please. I made a promise to the Pokémon League and I will keep it through life or death." She looks weak as she has a determine look and her glare that scares even tough trainer's and Mina was scared.

She stared at her friend but saw her weakness and thought, "One fight, just one Pokémon battle and I'll make sure she gets some rest. I know I can't stop her." As Sabrina gets dressed she sneeze's as her cloths look loose as her body seems distorted like it was made of malleable material. She walks out if confidence as she grabs her Pokémon.

The brown skinned young man walked through the halls of the Saffron Gym as he was amazed at the walls like they were still being repainted as there are people who are wearing white masks and clothing as they go around painting and chatting happily. He looks around as some people were practicing their psychic abilities and had one thought, "This place is nothing like what Ash described about the Gym."

He walks to the arena as he sees Sabrina in her black boots, red dress with black lines on the side with six yellow buttons on it and her stare with red eyes looking tired and her skin pale. She tells him in a sickly voice "Welcome challenger, you are here for the Marsh Badge, correct?" She sneezes as Ritchie looked concern for his opponent as she has that sickly look and felt a bit guilty fighting her.

Sabrina soon sends out her pokéball with her powers making a purple glow around it and makes it land on the ground revealing her Alakazam with his determined look and Ritchie was a bit timid at her Ace monster already send out to challenge him. He looked at the old looking monster with its yellow mustache and twin spoons it brands and his wire frame look and grabbed his pokéball yelling "All right then I choose you Sparky!"

In a flash of light a yellow mouse appeared with a messy hair on the top and a notched ear, it looked at Alakazam with a battling passion as it said with fury "Pikachu!"

The two Pokémon started their bout as Ritchie commanded "Sparky use Thunderbolt on Alakazam!" Sabrina quickly sends it a telepathic message as it makes a golden wall of light that takes the yellow mouse's lightning bolt and deflected it to the wall but took a mental strain a bit. Sabrina comments to Ritchie, "Your Pikachu has a nice power behind it" Ritchie smiled as Sabrina was focused on beating Ritchie.

She ordered with her telepathy to Alakazam to use his Psychic move to grab Sparky and fling him to the wall to use calm mind then psychic again to attack. As Ritchie planned he commanded to Sparky, "Use Quick attack and then a close up Thunderbolt!"

Sparky got on all fours and ran at high speeds towards Alakazam zigzag to keep it from being targeted as it gets in front and fires its lightning bolt on Alakzam with a powerful scream of "Pikachu!"

Alakazam took the blast causing it to cringe with damage as the eyes glow blue and Sparky is lifted in the air and blasted to the roof where his back is slammed to his back. He screamed it pain as it focused his mind to gain power and Ritchie yells "Sparky push off the roof with Quick Attack and do a point blank Thunderbolt on Alakazam!" Sabrina hear this and had to react as she was to sent her telepathic message when she holds her head when a headache got her and her ear looks a bit odd as it has a small drip.

Her eyes were being blurred as she felt her body feeling tried and her head was burning up as her green hair drips a bit at its end as Alakazam notices and teleports to her side as Sparky is caught by Ritchie as he was to hit the ground. Ritchie witnesses Sabrina's little melt down as she is scared he thinks of her as a freak and yells "Look away! I'm a freak!" She tries to run but slips and Ritchie runs and grabs the gooey girl before she falls.

In his arms, she felt a feeling that he cared about her and made a small blush as Ritchie tells her "No you're not a freak Sabrina, you're a nice and great gum leader. But what's happen to you?" She couldn't answer thanks to her feelings getting out of whack so she teleported out as Alakazam stares at Ritchie. He nods and smiles and teleports to as Ritchie was dumbstruck at what he saw and thought he could have went crazy if it wasn't for some past events.

In her bed Mina watched over her and was reluctant to taunt her with saying "I told you so." But what stopped her was the face she made. She created a blush not from a fever but from something else. Mina smiled at the sight and believed she was finally smitten with someone and it made Sabrina feel something close to liking someone.

The thing Sabrina dreamed of as she slept was the man holding her as she melts in a cave of Fire and she felt safe with him as he smiled and said "You're not a freak, you're nice." And all she could do was smile in her sleep
